The Weekly Master Classes are specialised weekly tuition classes that are designed to ensure that students reach their full academic potential (including the elite A and A+ scores). These programs are based on a unique 10 step system that ensures students receive the best opportunities to optimise their VCE scores.

Year 11: Chemistry,English,Physics and Mathematical Methods (CAS).
Year 12: Biology, Chemistry, English, ESL, Physics, Psychology, Mathematical Methods (CAS) and Specialist Mathematics

Venue: Melbourne Conference & Training Centre, Level 1, 477 Collins Street, Melbourne.

Students attend these small group tutorials on a weekly basis, in addition to their regular classes at school. Classes are held outside school hours, both after school and on weekends.

During the course of the Weekly Master Classes, students receive:

• Interactive instruction that reviews and reinforces concepts taught at schools.
• Detailed instruction that strengthens, consolidates and extends on required concepts, so as to prepare students for the elite A+ scores.
• Substantial notes that include step-by-step instructions, fully worked examples and take home practice questions. Questions are designed to reinforce taught concepts, and become progressively more difficult as students master the more challenging aspects of each course.
• Systematic revision that will ensure a reduction in pre-examination workloads and pressures.
• Exposure to highly probable examination questions.
• Specialised instruction in examination techniques and problem solving strategies, with significant emphasis on examination tricks, common student pitfalls and errors.
• Trial examination papers conducted under examination conditions.
• Instruction from our highly experienced and qualified teachers.
• Personalised attention and instruction when required.
• Question time sessions before and after class.
• Motivation and support.

This unique and powerful study skills lecture is designed to motivate, empower and organise students and ensure they are provided with the necessary skills and information to maximise their VCE scores. Students will learn vital skills that will help optimise performance in assessments, as well as strategies that will maximise learning and cut down on study time!

Our February lectures titled "Mastering the VCE" consist of a two hour intense study skills lecture as well as two specialised "Master Classes" (each 2 hours in duration) in select Unit 1 or 3 subjects.

Students will also gain critical instruction in:

• The most effective learning techniques
• Keeping learned materials in memory for longer periods of time
• Getting the most out of classes at school
• Organisation skills and time management
• Managing procrastination
• Self motivation strategies
• Stress management
• Planning effective daily study timetables
• Preparing for examinations
• Avoiding the detremental mistakes made by past VCE students
• Preparing for the "open book" style of testing in the mathematics exams
• Preparation of the mathematics "Reference Materials"

as well as other key strategies used by past students to excel in the VCE!

Detailed study skills notes will be issued to students.



Our Master Classes form a component of a highly specialised weekly program which is designed to ensure that students reach their full potential (including the elite A+ scores). These classes incorporate the content and teaching philosophies of many of the top schools in Victoria, ensuring that students are prepared to a standard that is seldom achieved by only attending school.
